Jazz Guitar, 16” hollow body at lower bouts, 2  1/8″ body depth, “Florentine” cutaway; available “Venetian” cutaway or no-cutaway, on request.

Back and sides: solid, European curly maple premium quality, matched  maple sides

Top: very aged, Italian spruce, carved and graduated by hand

Bracing: “Long Pivot” bracing configuration

Neck: mahogany, ebony 3 mm headstock cover, ebony binding with maple separation lines, over and under cover

Truss-rod: double way, with lateral carbon fiber reinforcements

Fingerboard: ebony with custom inlay at 12° fret, ebony binding with maple separation lines, compound  10”-14” radius

Frets: 21 medium jumbo Jescar frets (gold, with gold tuners)

Nut: 42.8 mm bone or ebony, 53 mm width at 12° fret

Scale: 25” scale

Binding: 5-ply plastic binding, or maple bound, with  double B/W separation lines

Bridge: two adjustable pieces ebony bridge, 53 mm strings spacing

Tailpiece: ebony, with “viol style” tail adjuster

Control: volume and tone, on body; available “Finaz” pick up option

Pickguard: bound ebony

Tuners: Gold Waverly tuners, or  high quality Gotoh 510 Gold

Pick up: Kent Amstrong “Johnny Smith” Gold model. These pick ups are individually handwound in Kent’s Vermont workshop, and should not be confused with the mass-produced models sold elsewhere under the Amstrong name

Finish: nitrocellulose, colors available are sunburst, old natural and double natural
